Casa Sola offer both wines to age and wines to be tasted younger. Casa Sola Wines are the liquid and aromatic expression of the Chianti region and are the results of an unique chemistery between our terroir, the grape variety, and our approach and know-how.
Each lable has its own characteristics but since our wines are very natural keep in mind that each vintage reflect the season and has its own personality. Call us if you have a specific year in mind, at the winery we have a huge wine library that trackback to 1960

Cabernet – Merlot – Sangiovese are the grapes of our "Super Tuscan" wine. This assemblage combine the power and the structure of the Cabernet Sauvignon, the sweet juicy flavors of the Merlot and the rustic cherry-berry notes of the Sangiovese. Despite the long aging wood notes are not dominant and primary aromas are still very present. Powerful wine with a long finish

Casa Sola Gran Selezione is a PURE Sangiovese. Well-structured wine show excellent balance and harmony thanks to grape selection and lengthy ageing, as well as deep, complex flavours and aromas. The palate displays approachable ripe red fruit sensations alongside light notes of spices. Round tannins and flavorful finish: a great meditation wine.

The many years of ageing create a high density product, with dark brown colour and a pleasant acidity, always lower than 6%. Very delicate is the perfect product for your most delicious and special preparations.
